Just a quick note to let everyone know I'm ok. It was a miserable swim. The winds and waves were nasty for all but the first 3 hours and 2 calm hours in the middle. My shoulders and wrists were sore by hour 7. I got chilled by the cool night air and never got warm with the wind all day. It was 6 hour night.
More details tomorrow after I get a chance to touch base with the observers.
The unofficial time was 18 hours and 45 minutes. This is the longest time I've swum since Lake Ontario at age 28.
